Ever-Shield Program FAQ
Everything you need to know about offering professional Sentricon® termite protection and warranty coverage to your property owners.
01
Program Overview
What is the Ever-Shield Termite Warranty Program?
Ever-Shield lets Property Managers offer termite warranty plans
to owners. Inspections, Sentricon® installation and maintenance,
and warranty service are performed by
HonorGuard Pest Management.
What areas does the program cover?
Service is currently available in Georgia and Tennessee.
Coverage can often be expanded when a Property Manager has a
portfolio of 10 or more properties. Contact us to discuss
your markets.
Will I work directly with HonorGuard?
Yes. Once properties are enrolled, you work directly with
HonorGuard. You also get portal access to manage enrolled
properties.
Do I have to enroll my entire portfolio?
No. Enroll the full portfolio or select individual properties.
Are there any marketing material templates I can customize?
Yes. Two Word documents are available for owner outreach.
02

What is the difference between the Gold and Platinum plans?
Both plans include Sentricon®. The difference is the level
of warranty protection.

- One-year minimum
Platinum

What wholesale rates does HonorGuard offer Property Managers?
Property Manager Wholesale Rates

|---|---|---|
| Gold | $200 Sentricon® + retreatment-only warranty | $150 |
| Platinum | $250 Sentricon® + repair and retreatment warranty (up to $5,000) | $200 |
What should I charge my property owners?
You set the owner price.
Wholesale is $200 / $150 for Gold and $250 / $200 for Platinum. Leave room above that for your margin. Typical owner pricing ranges are:
- Gold — First year: $350 – $500
- Gold — Renewals: $250 – $350
- Platinum — First year: $450 – $650
- Platinum — Renewals: $350 – $500
Is the inspection fee separate?
No. The initial inspection and Sentricon® installation are
included in the first-year price for both plans.
Will pricing stay predictable?
HonorGuard provides a three-year pricing guarantee on new
contracts. Minimum term is one year. After that, coverage
may be renewed or allowed to lapse.
03
Warranty & Administration
What does the warranty cover?
- Gold: Retreatment only. No structural repair coverage.
- Platinum: Retreatment plus repair costs up to $5,000 if termite damage is found while the plan is active.
Coverage is subject to HonorGuard’s service agreement.
How often are inspections performed?
Annual inspection and Sentricon® maintenance are part of
the renewal on both plans.
What happens if I stop renewing the plan?
Warranty coverage ends when the plan lapses. HonorGuard
removes the Sentricon® stations.
Is the warranty transferable if the property is sold?
Yes. The warranty transfers to the new owner.
Will I receive documentation for my records?
Yes. Service records and warranty documentation are
provided for each enrolled property.
04
The Sentricon® System
Do both plans include Sentricon?
Yes. Gold and Platinum both include professional Sentricon®
installation and annual maintenance. HonorGuard does not
offer an inspection-only plan.
How does the Sentricon system work?
Bait stations go around the property perimeter. Termites
carry the bait back to the colony, which can eliminate the
colony. Protection is continuous, not a one-time chemical
barrier.
Is Sentricon safe for families and pets?
Yes. It is a targeted bait system, not a broadcast spray,
and it received the EPA’s Presidential Green Chemistry
Challenge Award.
Can I upgrade from Gold to Platinum later?
Yes. The upgrade adds the $5,000 repair warranty. Sentricon®
is already installed under Gold, so this is not a second
installation. Confirm the upgrade price with HonorGuard
before you quote it.
